"My fellow parishioners,
It has been a blessing to be able to celebrate weekly mass in the church again these past few weeks. However, please remember that the wearing of a mask is MANDATORY for all parishioners over 5 years of age AT ALL TIMES, including when sitting in the pew. As Father Bogdan so eloquently put, the wearing of a mask is a selfless act of love and respect for others. Wear your mask for the young children who do not understand the need, for the elderly among us who are especially susceptible, and for the immunocompromised who may not even know they are at higher risk until it is too late. Masks may be uncomfortable, but this is a small cross to carry. If we all do our part and follow the guidelines, we can ensure that the church remains open for the celebration of public masses throughout the remainder of this pandemic. God's healing and peace to all."
