Bus Day Trip - St. Joseph's Abbey - Trappist Brewery

Join us for the Bus Day Trip to St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer MA, one of the largest monasteries in the United States, for a tour of their sate-of-the-art Brewery ! This is the only Trappist Brewery in North America, run by the monks themslves.

Travel will be on a comfortable Post Road Stages Bus, -
10 a.m. — Leave St. Joseph Church, Rockville
10:55 a.m.—Arrive at Abbey
12:45 / 1 p.m.— Get back on bus and drive up to Abbey Church for 10 minutes and then down to the Gift Shop / Book Store.
2 p.m.—Depart Abbey for return to Rockville by approx. 3 p.m.

There will be a self-guided tour of the new Brewery, a brief video about the Trappists, and tastings available for all the Trappist Beers, plus  a chicken BBQ sponsored by the Spencer Volunteer Fire Dept., cost - $10. ea., plus fresh hot dogs available for a modest cost.

Cost is $10. per person, $5. for kids under 12., join us on the beautiful 2,000 acre monastic grounds for peaceful afternoon of fun.

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:15 - 10:30 AM in the Convent Conference Room (down the hall from the Parish Office). Moms/caretakers - drop by for a chat, a coffee, and to make new friends. Bring your little ones for coloring, Bible storytime, and play time! Hope to see you there!

Weekly - Journey Through The Catechism

Join us every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm in the Church Office ( Convent building ) as we take a Journey through the Catechism. The Catechism is one of the best ways to explore the faith because we've got scripture, church history, theology, philosophy, and prayer /spirituality all together, - truly an integrated adventure ! 

Our series is lead  by Fr. Joseph, professor.emeritus, Holy Apostles Collge and Seminary, Cromwell, CT.

Bring a copy of the Catechism, either the print edition, or on your Tablet.  All are welcome to join us and start at any time ! 



Our New Parish Office

Our parish Office is now located in the newly-remodled Convent Building !  Visitors will be using the side ramp entrance along the driveway between the school. We ask everyone to be alert to the students and staff of the Strong Foundations Autism Services as you park and drive in and out, - safety first !.


 Bible Study

All are welcome and invited to join us every Thursday at 6 p.m. for Bible Study in the former Convent building, - the new parish office. A great way to grow in faith and fellowship with others in our parish community.

If you need a Bible, stop by our parish book rack / media center located in the main foyer of the church and pick one up. Mark your calendar, bring your Bible, and we'll see you there !   


 Life In The Spirit Seminar 

The Life In The Spirit  meets every Wednesday, in the church Hall, - starts between 6 and 7 p.m.
