​Pilgrimage Bus Trip to St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hartford -

With this being the Jubilee Year, and the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford being an official Pilgrimage destination, we’re putting together one (or more) special bus trips from our parish to the Cathedral.
 
 This will be FREE and will include:
 * Transportation on an airconditioned Dattco bus
 * A tour of the Cathedral with Rev. Joh Melnick, Cathedral Rector
 * Opportunity for Reconciliation & personal Jubilee Devotions
 * Attend the daily 12:10 pm Mass 
 * Optionally, a stop for some Dzen’s Ice Cream at the rotary in Ellington on the way back 

      - $$ on your own.
 

                   We’re looking to run these on Mondays during July & August,  

                                      with at least 12—20 people per trip.

        Schedule -
        We depart from our parking lot around 9:45 am, return approx. 2:15 pm depending 
        if we stop for Ice Cream !

"2025 is the Jubilee Holy Year, the 2,025th anniversary of the Incarnation of our Lord, an "event of great spiritual, ecclesial, and social significance in the life of the Church." 
The concept of "Jubilee" has its origins in the Book of Leviticus (chapter 25) as a special year of reconciliation, pilgrimage, and coming home. Pope Francis has designated the 2025 Holy Year as a time to renew ourselves as "Pilgrims of Hope."
