Magnificat Small Groups
NOT A BIBLE STUDY, THOUGH WE STUDY THE BIBLE TOGETHER.
NOT A PRAYER GROUP, THOUGH WE PRAY TOGETHER.
NOT A SUPPORT GROUP, THOUGH WE SUPPORT EACH OTHER.
WE ARE FRIENDS WHO BUILD HONEST, FRATERNAL RELATIONSHIPS.
WE ARE FRIENDS WHO STUDY, PRAY AND JOURNEY IN FAITH TOGETHER.
WE ARE FRIENDS WHO GROW IN FRIENDSHIP WITH CHRIST.
A St. Joseph Magnificat Small Group is a simple way for individuals, families and friends to form connections with others in the parish community, and to explore with others deeper ways to live out the Faith in today’s world.
Magnificat Magazine's easy-to-use format serves as the common bond for everyone and allows flexibility for discussion. (see PDF's below for how to get started).

Creation of new groups is encouraged, - working professionals, CCD Parents, High School and College aged groups, Mens and Womens groups, retired, ....

About CateChat
National Catholic Register Article
“Bishop Frank Caggiano of Bridgeport, Connecticut, called the software “a place where the faithful can engage with a text [the Catechism] that can seem daunting or unfamiliar to many. Families can use it to start a conversation about any element of the faith. Teachers can use it to ensure what they teach is the truth. Students can use it to look up answers to questions about their faith. Even clergy can use it to infuse a little bit of the Catechism into their homilies at Sunday Mass.”
