Prayers and appreciation of John Makowicz, 93. "John was a truly humble man who never put himself first and always thought of others. He lived his faith through personal action. As a communicant of St. Joseph Church since 1957, John was an usher, member of the men’s ministry, and faithful volunteer.
His quiet leadership was a steadying force in the lives of his family and friends". His wife, Isabelle, was also active as a member of the Choir, St. Helen's Society, volunteer for the annual Carnival / Bazaar, and as a CCD parent for many years.
