St. Joseph's Magnificat Small Groups - Visit with the Trappist monks.
Parishioners and friends have been experiencing retreats since the 1950s. Retreats at St. Joseph’s Abbey have been a regular feature of our community parish life for college through retired ages since the 1980s.
A retreat at a Trappist monastery can benefit a person by deepening their spiritual life, encountering silence and solitude, practicing the presence of God, seeking clarity and discernment, experiencing community and hospitality, embracing simplicity and detachment, and renewing body, mind, and spirit.
The monastic environment offers a unique and transformative space for spiritual growth, reflection, and renewal, enabling individuals to draw closer to God, explore their inner life, and cultivate a deeper sense of purpose, meaning, and connection in their faith journey.
