(860) 871-1970St. Joseph Parish offers Faith Formation classes, Grades 1-8 on Wednesdays, from 4-5:15 first week of October to early May in the School Building.
Confirmation is a two year program, 9th and 10th grade and meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:15 with Tom Brown, Confirmation Director.
First Confession is in Second Grade at the end of April each year.
First Communion takes place in Third Grade the first Sunday of May each year.
Our priority as your parish of St. Joseph's is to partner with you to provide the best religious education experience for your children.
*****We will be switching to a new program this upcoming year, Christ Our Life by Loyola Press, for grades 1-8. This program will include multimedia resources to engage our students. We will continue to meet in the Church once a month for the Rosary, Adoration, etc.Faith Formation (religious education) instills in our youth at a young age the importance and the beauty of our Catholic Faith. In a faith-filled environment, along with their peers, their faith and love of Jesus is cultivated and able to flourish, and they are given a deeper understanding of the Mass and its significance. We emphasize a love of Jesus in the Eucharist and promote the teachings of the Catholic Church in an age-appropriate setting. We provide opportunites for service projects and social gatherings, as well as spiritually enriching Parent-student activities. All are welcome!

Sacramental Prep for Children Beyond 3rd Grade
If your child is beyond 3rd grade and has not received his/her sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and/or Communion, we are happy to provide you with materials to help prepare your child for their sacraments while partcipating in their appropriate grade level class. Please contact our DRE for more information!
